The word Amigurumi comes from Japanese. The Japanese call handicrafts knitted with crochet and needle as Ami. The Japanese call the toys that are filled with objects such as fibers or cotton as Nuigurumi. The word Amigurumi is derived as a combination of these two words.

  • Alize Classic pink yarn;
  • black sewing thread for decoration;
  • a piece of white cotton thread for decoration;
  • glass eyes 2cm;
  • hook 1.3;
  • scissors;
  • needle;
  • a piece of white felt;
  • holofiber (filler).
  • glue Moment-gel;
  • markers 2 pcs;
  • a piece of contrasting thread;
  • a piece of the prickly part of the Velcro (for shaggy)
  • PVA glue (for fixing knots – optional).

KA – amigurumi ring
VP – air loop
RLS – single crochet
Ub. – 2 columns together
Etc. – 2 columns in 1 loop
We knit in a spiral
1.6 VP in the spacecraft;

  1. (1sbn, pr) * 3 times (9);
  2. (1sbn, ub) * 3 times (6);
  3. Pr * 6 times (12) (Fig. 1);
  4. (1sbn, pr) * 6 times (18);
  5. (2sbn, pr) -6 times (24);
  6. (3sbn, pr) -6 times (30);
  7. (4sbn, pr) -6 times (36);
  8. – 12. 36sc (Fig. 2);
  9. (17sbn, pr) * 2 times (38);
  10. (18sbn, pr) * 2 times (40);
  11. We tie the handle: 17sbn, 4vp,
    skip 4sbn, 1sbn, expand

Gripping one wall of the air loop
knit 4 sc, 4 sc in missed 4 sc

We continue to knit the handle along

We continue to knit the handle along

7) (K, 2sbn) * 3 times (9);
8) U * 4 times, 1sbn (5).
Pull the hole, fasten and cut

We attach the thread to
next loop from
1) 1vp (this will be the first
sbn), 15sbn, ub, 18sbn,
ub, 2sbn (38);
We shift the contrast
thread 2 loops forward
(Fig. 12);
2) 38sc;
3) 16sbn, pr, 18sbn, pr,
2sbn (40);
4) 17sbn, pr, 19sbn, pr,
2sbn (42);
5) – 8) 42sc;

We hang the marker on the 9th and 30th PRS from
the beginning of the row (This will be the middle
monsters) (Fig. 13).

We form the bottom:
1) 12sbn, vp, expand
2) – 5) 5sbn, vp, expand;
6) 5sbn, vp (Fig. 14);

We tie the side of the bottom – 4sbn, 1sbn in
angle (Fig. 15)

We knit the first leg (knit as usual

  • facing outward):
    1) 4ub, 8sbn, do not tie 2 loops to
    marker (Fig. 16);
    2) 1sbn in the first sbn of our strapping
    bottom (Fig. 17) – you can
    move the contrasting thread to
    this loop (Fig. 18), 16sc;
    3) 17sc;
    4) 4sbn, 3 pr, 10sbn;
    5) For the back wall – 2sbn, 5ub, 2sbn,
    6) For both walls – 6ub.
    Pull the hole and pull the thread about
    antennas (for pulling up the bottom

Stuff the leg and part of the calf (Fig. 19).

Second leg:
1) Depart from the marker 2 sbn, in the third
sbn attach the thread (Fig. 20), vp
(this will be the first sc), 7 sc, 4 dec, 1 sc
in the corner of the bottom, 4 sbn side strapping
2) – 3) 17sc;
4) 10sbn, 3 pr, 4sbn;
5) Behind the back wall 3ub, 2sbn, 5ub, 2sbn;
6) For both loops 6ub;
Pull the hole, pull the thread about
Fill well and sew up the hole

We make eyelets for the peephole (Fig. 21)
Pull up the legs and cut the strings.

With the barbed part of the Velcro we shag our
Monster. (Fig. 22)

We cut wool in the area of attachment
peephole. (Fig. 23)

We glue the eyes. And we give them
expressiveness with a white thread.
We embroider cilia. (Fig. 24)
Make an additional tightening between

Cut out the mouth from white felt. (Fig. 25)
Cut out also the place on the monster in place
attachment of the mouth.

Glue the moment-gel glue the black sewing thread onto the felt, forming the fangs.
We comb, trim the wool and decorate as desired.
